Remember back in March when Congress passed out $1.9 trillion in “free” money to the states? They could do pretty much whatever they wanted to do with the “Biden Bucks” – except cut their own taxes.
We said from the start that this was an outrageous violation of the 9th and 10th Amendments.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost challenged it as an unconstitutional commandeering of the states and in July a federal judge ruled in his favor.
On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge L. Scott Coogler of Alabama issued an injunction against Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen from enforcing the provision.

States are now flush with cash thanks to the Biden tooth fairy money. What wonderful irony if governors and state legislators across the country responded to this court decision by enacting very large and permanent tax rate reductions.
