You may have heard that starting last week, several gas stations on the west coast have reconfigured their pumps to add an extra digit to the price. The story was first reported by Post Millenial and has now been verified by other news outlets.
While the price nationally is now about $4.69 a gallon, high taxes and other regulations in the left coast states have brought prices up to as high as $7 a gallon. Premium blends can go even higher. Diesel prices are typically $1 a gallon higher than gas.
We don’t anticipate gas going to $10 a gallon. But if Biden’s intention is to make gas so expensive that people can’t afford to buy it, the plan is working like a charm.
