We congratulate Reps. Brad Wenstrup and James Comer for tracking down a cache of emails from Anthony Fauci’s fixer, David Morens, to Peter Dazcak, whose group EcoHealth was using US taxpayer dollars to conduct risky gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The emails show that Fauci and Morens did everything they could to conceal the true story about coronavirus origins from the public.

Marg Moore, the “FOIA Lady” at NIH “who hates FOIAs,” taught them to delete records to avoid producing responses to FOIA requests:

And Morens sent FOIA-avoidance messages to Fauci’s secret email or hand-delivered them to Fauci at his office or home:

Morens reassured Dazcak in one email: “We are all smart enough to know never to have smoking guns.”

In his testimony yesterday, Morens claimed it was all just “black humor,” and that he was joking around with his friends. Sure.

One of the reasons we may never know for certain whether the coronavirus leaked from a lab is that so much evidence was illegally destroyed or concealed, not just by China but by US bureaucrats who were involved in funding the Wuhan lab.

Rand Paul is calling for the DOJ to open a criminal investigation. We wholeheartedly agree.
