News organizations have called the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania for Republican David McCormick. But his 26,000 vote lead over Senator Bob Casey is small enough there will be a statewide recount that must end by November 26.
Blue counties may have more lax standards than Red counties. Shocking, right?
McCormick lawyers are challenging provisional and mail-in ballots that are undated. But there is an effort to slip them into the final count in Blue counties. Yesterday, the Bucks County Board of Elections voted 2-1 along party lines to accept 406 such mail-in ballots.
“I can’t vote to reject them,” Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia said, even though a state court had blocked their inclusion pending a final ruling.
“Precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country. And people violate laws anytime they want. For me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it.”
We’ve rarely heard such a blatant disregard for the Rule of Law uttered with a straight face.
Marc Elias, a former lawyer for Hillary Clinton who “helped to steal a Senate seat in Minnesota for Al Franken in 2008 by finding a judge to count previously rejected ballots and overturn the lead of Republican Norm Coleman.” Elias is counting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, controlled by leftist activist appointees, to allow shenanigans at the county level.
The liberal media insist election fraud doesn’t exist. Let’s see if they will pay attention now that it is being committed in broad daylight in a key U.S. Senate race.
