And the news just keeps getting better. Our new hero is Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart chairman of the State and Foreign Operations Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee.

With a stroke of the pen’s eraser this week, he has defunded one of the most corrupt, anti-growth and self-serving institutions on the planet: the World Bank.  He also cut overall spending on agencies like the bloated State Department by about 20%.

There’s never been any evidence that the globalists’ piggy bank – i.e., World Bank lending – has increased living standards in poor countries. Under Biden, the Bank morphed into a climate change agency dedicated to lowering growth and stalling economic development, not advancing it.

We’re working to ensure that the full House and Senate approve this plan pronto.

When that happens, maybe we can house the homeless in DC in the empty World Bank building.
