Are You Ready for Two Senators From…Guam?

We’ve warned for years that the next time the Left wins control of Congress, they will push to make both Washington D.C. (population 702,000) and Puerto Rico (where less than half the people speak English) new states that will each elect two U.S. Senators. Supporters claim no Constitutional amendment would be needed to make either change.

Now, we learn they also are plotting to add the U.S. territory of Guam to their wish list of new stars in the U.S. flag. An astroturf campaign is underway to build support for the idea among the 164,000 residents (the same population as Killeen, Texas).

The Guam Decolonization Commission, a government agency, is demanding statehood.  “We must solidify our place in the American family such that any attack on Guam [by China] is unmistakably an attack on the United States itself,” says local lawmaker Will Parkinson.

The real agenda is for the Left to secure two MORE senators so that someone like, oh, AOC can someday be Senate Majority Leader.
