We may have finally arrived at the peak of climate change idiocy. People suffering from asthma are contributing to a warming planet:

Infamous FTC chair Lina Khan is blaming the rise in inhaler prices on the companies that manufacture them – but she should blame the climate crazies and her own Biden administration colleagues at the EPA.

The chemicals used in traditional inhalers will be banned in 99 days. Inhaler manufacturers and importers must hire lawyers and engineers if they want to continue to make anything like the traditional inhaler.

Khan points to cheaper inhalers in Europe, which is also banning those chemicals. But the European policy is phased in gradually, rather than a sudden ban on January 1, 2025. So no surprise that US prices are spiking higher and faster.
