Biden’s Green Energy Conundrum

Does anyone else besides us find this wildly contradictory?

On the one hand, the Biden administration is claiming credit for U.S. oil output hitting record-high levels.

The Biden Energy Department boasts: “The United States produced more crude oil than any nation at any time, according to our International Energy Statistics, for the past six years in a row. Crude oil production in the United States, including condensate, averaged 12.9 million barrels per day.”

On the other hand, Biden and Harris are crowing about their $1 trillion “investment in clean energy.”  Wow, that trillion dollars of taxpayer money must be paying rich dividends given that by their own admission we are producing record amounts of “dirty oil.” This isn’t getting us to net zero over the next 20 years.

Our studies show that we would have produced as many as 2 million more barrels a day with a continuation of the Trump energy policies.

But if Biden really wants to take credit for the most oil production in American history, doesn’t that, by his own green logic, make him the greatest environmental villain of all time?

Just wondering.
