We’ve run similar versions of this before, but Bruce Mehlman’s rundown of the major spending programs of the last couple of years caught our eye:
Republicans in Congress have the leverage to claw back $130 billion in spending at the end of this year by refusing to waive statutory PAYGO. That will hardly make a dent in the Biden spending spree, but it would be a good start.
They should also immediately rescind the hundreds of billions that haven’t been spent yet.
