Chameleons are known for their ability to change color based on their surroundings. They are also known for their long, sticky tongues and their eyes, which can move independently of each other.

Kamala-eons are politicians, named after Kamala Harris, who are capable of changing their colors by articulating one position one day and the next taking a totally different position depending on the audience.  For example, “I am against fracking” when Kamala is in front of green audiences, and “I am for fracking when she is in front of business audiences.”

Sometimes people get these two species confused.
