We’ve reported on the domestic migration losses in blue states in recent years (and decades), but this chart from our friends at Strategas shows the income gains and losses across states. Florida is, of course, the massive winner and New York and California are the big losers. These losses of $30 billion EACH in income in NY and CA are for just two years. We can understand why people would want to leave NY for Florida, but you really have to screw things up to get people to leave California.
