We hoped and prayed that Ferguson might be the single sane politician left in “progressive” Washington State and would stop its first ever income tax calamity.

Unfortunately, on Monday, he caved, putting into effect the new 9.9% levy – tied with Oregon for the fifth highest in the country behind only California, Hawaii, New York, and New Jersey.

Now come the lawsuits and possibly a ballot measure to repeal it.  And the mass exodus of money and people out of Seattle.
