We’ve been told for decades that renewable energy and electric vehicles just need a little more help before they stand on their own merit… then more and more and more forever. Already about $500 billion has been spent on green energy – which still accounts for only about 7% of our total energy produced.
Now The Big Three automakers are begging Congress to raise the 200,000 vehicles per manufacturer limit on the $7500 tax credit for electric vehicles to… well, infinity.
They say it should be extended until “the EV market is more mature,” which is lobbying-speak for forever.
If EVs are truly the cars of the future, why do taxpayers have to bribe buyers with A $7,500 check to purchase one?
