More evidence of the stupidity of the greed and envy lobby comes from the states. Since COVID, the states with low and no income taxes have created jobs at a healthy pace, while the high income tax states are hardly creating ANY net new jobs.

This isn’t just about the effect of tax rates. Most of the states losing jobs foolishly shut their economies down during COVID and never fully recovered.

These data exclude health care because taxpayer funding and regulatory control have, sadly, made that sector quasi-governmental.
