Almost no one in Washington actually educates children, so it’s good news that the department is going away. Secretary Linda McMahon is doing just about everything possible to implement Trump’s executive order winding down the Education Department. Why doesn’t Congress finish the job, shut the blob down, and direct the dollars to low-income families that want to opt out of failing public schools?
