The courts keep striking down Biden vaccine mandates. Then on Tuesday night two Senate Democrats — Manchin and Tester — actually broke with the party and joined Republicans to pass a bill that blocks the OSHA mandate. (Ugggh, Sinema voted with Schumer and the liberals.)
Governors are breaking with Biden too. Michigan’s Gretchen Whitmer, the once lockdown-happy authoritarian, now says the vaccine mandate is “a problem” because the state of Michigan is “an employer too. I know if that mandate happens, we’re going to lose state employees. That’s why I haven’t proposed a mandate.”
Another lockdown enthusiast, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, has shied away from a strict vaccine mandate for teachers and other public workers. His neighbor, New York Governor Kathy Hochul is opposed to a “broad-based mandate for all private-sector workers in New York.”
