The Trump administration’s Permitting Council approved 13 major infrastructure projects last year compared to just 17 by Biden’s Council in four years. They are currently working on 53 projects.
Permitting Council Executive Director Emily Domenech told National Review:
“We will simply not beat China and or maintain American prosperity if we cannot ensure that we can develop our natural resources, build large infrastructure that supports our economic growth… All of those things tie back to federal permitting.”
