Michigan State Senator Jonathan Lindsey makes a powerful case for his bill SB95, which requires Michigan hospitals to comply with federal price transparency rules.  His bill has teeth, because it prohibits hospitals that are out of compliance from taking collection actions against consumers.

And he convinced his colleagues – it passed 35 to 1! On to the House.
