As regular Hotline readers know, our pal Andy Puzder has been tracking the pace of inflation versus wages. The latest numbers for April show yet again that prices continue to sprint out ahead of wages. The average family is now losing about $300 a month in real income due to the Biden inflation tax.

Notice the contrast with the Trump years. In virtually every month for four years wages rose faster than inflation causing a huge $6,000 real gain in income for median households.
