Is it just us, or is this new mask mandate policy in blue states inexplicably stupid?

As we reported yesterday, most blue state governors and mayors are bowing to the reality of a virus in rapid retreat by lifting mask mandates in workplaces, stores, restaurants, etc. But in some states school children still have to wear them and the CDC guidance recommends that school mask orders stay in place.

Why? The FIRST place to end mask mandates is in schools because for the thousandth time, kids are not at risk. Haven’t we done enough damage to our children already?
