Nancy Pelosi declared to CBS News that President Biden should be added to Mount Rushmore. So the president with the worst economic record in modern times (see above) is to be enshrined right next to Washington and Jefferson.

The former House Speaker was, of course, instrumental in the coup that pushed Biden off the Democratic ticket in favor of Kamala Harris. But unlike Mark Antony’s funeral oration of Caesar, she came to the CBS interview to praise Biden not to bury him.

“Such a consequential president of the United States,” she gushed. “A Mount Rushmore kind of president of the United States.”
