Deb is pretending she is “shocked” by some of the revelations in the Fauci diaries and spinning the story that it was he, not she, who was the culprit for lockdowns.

There really is no honor among thieves.

Not even Anthony Fauci did as much to plunge much of the country into turmoil and fear and lockdowns, school closures, and draconian mandates as Deborah Birx. We don’t need a diary to become public to know that, because she bragged about tricking President Trump in her own book:

The places that followed her draconian advice had the harshest lockdowns with the worst economic and educational outcomes, with no attendant health benefits. The Fauci diary entry about sidelining Scott Atlas’s efforts to get schools open and instead keep them closed until they “eliminate” the virus was an email to Birx agreeing with her.

Birx’s new effort in the media to criticize Fauci is laughable and based on her objection that Fauci was directly advising state and local politicians to impose school closures instead of going through her official recommendations. But that’s just a meaningless turf battle, because they were BOTH recommending shut downs.
