Speaking of South America, there’s a freedom revolution going on down there that is liberating and pro-growth.

Many of our neighbors to the south are shrinking governments, opening markets, and prioritizing growth and stability. Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia are governed by conservative leaders.

Ironically, this is all happening as the Left in America moves toward South Americanesque socialist policies.

Brazil, with its 214 million people, will decide next month if they will join this wave.  Incumbent Lula da Silva, the “last man standing” among South America’s leftist leaders, is tied in polls with Flavio Bolsonaro, the son of the nation’s last conservative president.

The new policies are showing results. Several nations have seen their bond rating upgraded. Paraguay will grow by 4.4% this year with Milei’s Argentina projected to grow 3.6%. Other countries are well ahead of the 1.1% average GDP growth rate of the European Union.

After Brazil, Cuba could be next to choose freedom over tyranny.
