So much for Biden handing off a healthy economy and a declining deficit to Trump. DJT is inheriting a fiscal mess that would be made worse with the 1,500 page spending bill that is three months late and that not a single member of Congress has read – unless they are speed readers.
This is no way to make sausage and Trump is right to howl in protest. He’s also spot on to demand that this pitiful president (Joe Biden, anyone remember him?) and this pitiful Congress deal with the debt ceiling – since THEY created the mess.

If Democrats won’t cooperate on the debt ceiling now, what makes anyone think they would do it in June during our administration? Let’s have this debate now. And we should pass a streamlined spending bill that doesn’t give Chuck Schumer and the Democrats everything they want…
Republicans must GET SMART and TOUGH. If Democrats threaten to shut down the government unless we give them everything they want, then CALL THEIR BLUFF. It is Schumer and Biden who are holding up aid to our farmers and disaster relief.
