Late last week, the US Bureau of Economic Analysis published the official price parities for all 50 states plus DC in 2024 and it confirms our analysis. Nine of the ten most expensive places to live are solid Blue states and nine of the ten most affordable are solid Red. The bluer the state, the more expensive it is to live there.
