When we read this Sunday New York Times headline, we weren’t sure if it was a spoof or real. But the sighting of this white buffalo calf made the A section of Sunday’s Times with the lead that according to legend, this rare event indicates “the earth is at a crossroads.”

The ancient Native American prophecy warns that the arrival of the rarer white calf means that Mother Earth “is sick and has a fever” and is seeking “peace and harmony.”

If we don’t “unite globally”, disasters await us.

If this doesn’t inspire us to pass a carbon tax and abolish cars before it’s too late – nothing will.

So it appears that “voodoo economics” has been replaced at the Times with “voodoo climate change.”
