We’ve devoted lots of space in the Hotline dismantling the mythology of “green energy” meeting our enormous energy demands. The idea that wind and solar – which supply between 5% and 10% of our energy today – will ever replace the 80% that comes from geological fuels – oil, gas, and coal – is a dangerous fantasy.
