And the winner of our Maxwell Smart “Missed it by that much!” award this month goes to: the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). This is the agency that has long relied on an extreme global warming scenario that forecasts a dramatic rise in sea levels, global crop failures, and the rapid melting of glaciers. The knowingly false and doomsday forecast is responsible for trillions of dollars of spending on crazy green new deal schemes.

That model has now discredited itself. The IPCC now admits the most extreme projections “have become implausible.”

“The climate apocalypse isn’t around the corner after all,” reports Roger Pielke, a leading climate skeptic and former director of policy research at the University of Colorado.

Here’s hoping that everyone from the IPCC to Bill Gates accepts that they’ve been wrong all along.
