All over the country, debates are being cancelled or refused, and some of those cancellations are being described as unusual even by the organizers.
- The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association cancelled its planned debate for governor – the first time that’s happened since the 1990s.
- AARP canceled its long-running Senate debate in Virginia.
- Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs of Arizona is refusing to debate her Republican opponent Andy Biggs.
- In Ohio, Democrat Amy Acton won’t debate Vivek Ramaswamy, the GOP candidate.
- In California, there is so far only one hour-long debate between Democrat Xavier Becerra and Republican Steve Hilton scheduled. Another debate has been canceled. This is for the job of chief executive of a state with 40 million people.
We suspect the Left doesn’t want to have to defend socialism in front of voters.
