Which States Have Parent Power Over Schools?

Parent Power is the new crusade to fix our broken schools. We are heartened to see our friends at the Center for Education Reform have put out an index on what states allow the most parental involvement in their kids’ education. The Parent Power map is shown below and measures charter programs, choice programs, teacher quality, and innovation.

No surprise probably that Florida comes out number one.

Arizona, Indiana, and West Virginia (!) are also highly rated.

The worst ranked states are a bit of a surprise and Republicans in these states have a lot of work to do:

      • Nebraska
      • North Dakota
      • South Dakota
      • Wyoming
      • Washington
