Zohran Mamdani has officially gone loco!
He wants a massive new “pied-à-terre” tax (admittedly a new one to us!) on luxury homes and properties that are not primary residences. Zohran says it will raise $500 million towards free child care and other services.
In his video announcing this, he looks as maniacal as the Joker in the Batman movie.
The impact will be a fire sale on luxury homes and apartments in Manhattan. Great way to ruin a city. No doubt Brandon Johnson will try this scheme in Chicago.
