We bet you didn’t know that the number one source of “renewable energy” in America and in most nations is not solar or wind, but hydro-power.

The International Energy Agency reports that worldwide, “hydropower remains the largest renewable source of electricity, generating almost as much as all other renewable technologies combined.”

Wow. And in most cases it doesn’t require billions of dollars of government subsidies. New York City gets electric power from Niagara Falls.

Yet the greens often oppose this cheap and reliable renewable energy (that emit NO greenhouse gases) because they hate dams.

If they were serious about clean energy and climate change, they would be cheering for hydropower, not blocking it.
