This economic report from Unleash Prosperity proprietary summarizes our monthly analysis of median income of households based on Census Bureau sample data through May 2026. This report provides an advance estimate of the official Census numbers for 2025 that will not be released until September, 2026 and the 2026 data that will be released in the fall of 2027.

The statistical margin of error for these estimates is less than 1%. These are the same Census survey data that are used each month to measure household employment.

At the end of the report we provide a summary of what sources of money are counted and what are not counted in the Census income data. Our next report for June will be released in August.
