Add South Carolina to the list of states where voters are rebelling against Biden and liberal “woke” policies.

In Columbia, South Carolina, the state’s capital and second-largest city, Daniel Rickenmann was the elected as the city’s first Republican mayor in over 30 years. He defeated a longtime Democratic city councilwoman who was strongly supported by House Democratic Whip Jim Clyburn. Columbia is a city where the majority of the residents are minorities.

Joe Biden won over 71% of the vote just over a year ago. The State newspaper reports that “Rickenmann 52, won with a consistent message about a city with clean sidewalks, safe streets and a business-friendly climate” and property tax reform.
