Bari Weiss, the writer who was forced to resign from the New York Times in 2020 after she refused to bow to the “woke” leftist culture there, won wild applause when she appeared on Bill Maher’s HBO show last Friday. She said it is time to move on from Covid restrictions and lockdowns.
What is amazing was that Maher and his young ultra-liberal audience agreed with her. The worm is turning when even liberal audiences are sick of being ordered around by government officials like Anthony Fauci. Maher took a shot at Fauci, saying: “Don’t sit there is your white coat and tell me ‘just do what we say.’” He even took a swing at Democrats saying they have “become the party of no common sense.”
