We’re surprised and disgusted that so many of the pols and other supposedly smart people living in the Swamp just shrugged their shoulders over the $30 trillion debt announcement. What are we to do? The White and House and members of both parties are acting as if all the debt spending is costless. That’s what the Modern Monetary Theory people say.

Maybe this chart will shake people out of their indifference to the red ink. A child born today will owe $307,000 in debt when they reach the age of 30. We’re sure they will say: “Gee – thanks Mom and Dad.”
