| 1) Chart of the Day Trump v. Biden Economic Recovery Let’s compare Trump versus Obama-Biden in their economic handling of a crisis, shall we? Obama-Biden were handed the worst financial crisis in 30 years in 2009. The Trump administration was hit with the worst pandemic in at least half a century – which flattened the economy in the first half of the year. With Friday’s October job report, the unemployment rate fell to 6.9 percent – down from 14.7 percent in April. So in six months, we got the unemployment rate down to below 7. How long did that take Obama-Biden? Not six months, but nearly 50 months. And remember: Biden was the genius who took charge of the 2009 economic recovery act. He was the one who promised the “summer of recovery.” Yes, we know, every recession is different. But does anyone truly believe Biden and Pelosi are going to finish the super V-shaped recovery Trump has started?  |
