Our friend Dan Clifton of Strategas shared this chart after he saw our item on Loudoun’s data centers being its largest taxpayers. This reinforces our contention that data centers bring money, jobs and economic development to cities and towns.
As data centers have proliferated in Loudoun County, Virginia the property taxes on everyone else have fallen sharply. Right next door in Fairfax, with minimal data centers, tax rates are flat — which means tax payments have been rising with assessments.
