Jonathan Lindsey, a newly elected state Senate member and former special forces member of the U.S. military introduced a bill on the floor of the legislature in Lansing to abolish the state income tax. This happened on one of his first days in office.
You could practically hear the Dems and the special interests gasp in horror.

Well, gee, nine states have no income tax and are doing quite well. Ask them. And nobody’s leaving those states like they are fleeing Michigan.
