Celebrating The Freedom Court

Why is the left so indignant and riled up?

Because the theme of nearly all of the major Court decisions of the past several days is to rule in the direction of limiting the power of what has become an unrestrained and abusive federal government.

Let us review:

The Supreme Court finally overturned the Chevron Doctrine, which unconstitutionally delegated to unelected bureaucrats the power to expand and enforce laws and regulations not explicitly approved by Congress.

The Court reined in the power of the EPA in an important federalism ruling.

The Court ruled that a six-year statute of limitations barring outside groups from suing the federal government over regulations only starts for a specific plaintiff when the regulation first applies to them.

The court continues to take opportunities to protect our freedom of speech.

There were more victories along these lines, but you get the general theme here.

Perhaps the best summary of the court’s decisions was provided by Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson who warned that they “have the potential to devastate the functioning of the Federal Government.”

That’s an exaggeration, but Washington is clearly losing power.

What is also clear is that there is now a fairly solid 6-3 voting bloc for liberty.

Special thanks to Leonard Leo, Mitch McConnell, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Donald Trump, Jim Demint, and the many others who made this majority for freedom possible.
