As expected, Anthony Fauci is taking the 5th Amendment cone of silence at the Rand Paul hearing.

But he also continues to insist in his writings and recent declarations that he had nothing to do with the school closures, which were ordered by local officials. Well, either Fauci is lying now, or he lied in his just-released diaries. In those entries, Fauci bragged that he personally convinced NYC and California to order schools closed.

We believe if NYC schools had stayed open, the rest of the country may not have fallen like dominoes. As we have often pointed out, countries where schools never closed, like Sweden, had no worse disease outcomes and, of course, had much better educational outcomes.
