As we’ve pointed out before, it was Vice President Kamala Harris’s key tie-breaking votes that allowed the twin inflation-bombs of the “American Rescue Plan” and the Orwellian-named “Inflation Reduction Act” to pass through the Senate.
University of Chicago economist and Unleash Prosperity Senior Fellow Casey Mulligan calculates that Harris’s votes for ARP and IRA were responsible for at least half of the excess inflation experienced during the Biden presidency.
But it gets much worse: If Harris’s proposed Universal Basic Income welfare bill had been enacted prices would not be 20% higher but at least 50% higher.
Remember: this is the woman who says she’s going to “eliminate inflation on day one,” if elected president.
