You would think there would be economies of scale in government service delivery. But New York has by far the highest government costs PER PERSON and California spends about 50% more! And for what? California and New York have some of the worst public services. California can’t even put out fires or get the homeless off the streets.

Now, both these states want a massive tax increase on the rich and their governors and the mayors insist there is nothing in the budget to cut. It’s just another symptom of the Blue State Disease.
