Gee, we wonder what happened here. Here’s Marc’s speculation and ours too:

The left went raving mad when they saw a mainstream media voice deviating from the climate change manual. How dare they? Don’t they understand the first rule of modern journalism that EVERY natural disaster and weather-related death is a byproduct of climate change and oil drilling?

Some reporters at ABC didn’t get the memo, so the editors dutifully stepped i. and got back with the program. Phew. What a shame it would be if this disaster weren’t used to score political points.
