Some Hope For Chicago School Kids Held Hostage

CTUP supporter Janine Yass has joined hands with Jeanne Allen of the Center for Education Reform and donated up to $5 million to low-income families with children trapped in Chicago’s shuttered public schools. These dollars would be used to place their kids in alternative private schools that are still open.

This won’t come close to helping ALL the hundreds of thousands of Chicago public school kids victimized by the teacher unions walk-out. But it’s a generous start and we hope more will pitch in to save our children.

Families of Chicago school kids affected by the strike can apply for a scholarship at https://stopaward.com/rescue/
