Senator John Thune has introduced a measure to force a vote on overturning and banning the Head Start mandate. It will be interesting to see how Senate Democrats vote.

Schumer can’t stop a floor vote if the GOP wants to push — it only takes 30 senators on a discharge petition. And, I think they are going to force this one. McConnell gave a floor speech today about child masking the day after all the celebs were at the super bowl. Took them long enough, but the GOP are finally on to the child masking issue. (Getting a House vote is another issue – probably impossible.)
