Democrats can’t seem to decide if they want to abolish the Supreme Court or stack it.

On the one hand, the Democratic socialists want to do away with the highest court of the land (and replace it with what?), while other party leaders want to pack it with four new liberal justices.

On Sunday, Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina disgracefully played the race card and accused Republicans of “taking this country back to those rulings of Justice Taney, that said, ‘No Black man has any right that white man must respect.” He was referring to Supreme Court Justice Roger Taney who wrote the infamous 1857 Dred Scott opinion just before the Civil War.

Does he even know that for 100 years after the Civil War Democrats were the party of segregation?

The Left is conspiring to resurrect FDR’s infamous court packing scheme in 1937 – his “switch in time to save nine,” which was a ploy to pack the court to advance his unconstitutional New Deal agenda.

Voters hated the idea and shut down the assault on the high court.

James Madison famously called the Supreme Court the “bulwark of our liberties.” We have faith that this generation of voters will again see the Democrats’ ruse for what it is and revolt against this assault on one of the most respected institutions in government.
