After spending multiple trillions of dollars on wind and solar power, guess what? Almost nobody on the planet uses it.
This chart shows the dominant energy source for each country. Finding any country that gets its majority energy from wind (light blue) and solar (yellow) is like trying to solve a Where’s Waldo search.
It’s interesting that France gets most of its electricity from nuclear power and Norway gets most of its power from hydropower. We are big fans of both these inexhaustible supplies of cheap energy and we’ve complained many times that energy prices and emissions in many areas of the U.S. could be reduced if environmentalists would allow us to build more dams.
