Here’s a useful lesson of why the left’s climate change agenda leads to poverty, deprivation, and misery.
Starting in 2000 the Brits bought into the climate change fanaticism and dramatically and foolishly reduced their energy usage.
Meanwhile, the U.S. mostly side-stepped the more radical anti-fossil fuels agenda. Our energy use and fossil fuel production rose thanks in part due to the shale and fracking revolution. We also became more energy efficient.
Look at energy use between the two nations.

Now look at what’s happened to the economies, the living standards and the wealth of the two nations. Have you ever seen such a dramatic contrast? We know that correlation isn’t causation, but these trends are eye-opening, aren’t they?
