We warned yesterday that the White House was pressuring the Republican majority in the House to go small and go home on Reconciliation 3.0.

Alas, it looks like Republicans are doing just that:

The budget resolution instructs four House committees to write Reconciliation 3.0. Those committees are the House Administration Committee, House Armed Services Committee, House Agriculture, and House Intelligence Committee. Each of them will have an important component part of it. The forthcoming reconciliation legislation sets out to accomplish two very important goals: one, to secure America’s elections… The second objective is to protect and strengthen our homeland. How will we do that? We will provide supplemental funding for our troops with the Administration’s request to support national defense and our farmers.

No tax cuts. No offsetting spending cuts. No health care reforms. No fraud crackdown.  Mostly just more government spending. Really?
